Andrea Cheolas - Walk his way 1985

This is a rare jazz Lp which was recorded at Polaris Studios, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Andrea Cheolas is an American singer and keyboard player from Detroit. She is a student of Bill Evans and Art Tatum. She appeared in the late 70s and early 80s in Detroit clubs. She released a jazz album entitled "People Mover" on Polaris Records in 1985. The musicians were Chris Snyder and Gord Johnson on electric bass, Ted Thomas and Kent McMillan on drums, Marcus Belgrave on Flugel Horn, Ray Manzerole on sax, Joseph Loduca and Vic Bortolon on guitars, Sundiata Keita on percussion. All music and lyrics composed by herself. Arranged by Tom Borshuk, Chris Snyder and Andrea Cheolas. Produced by Tom Borshuk and Andrea Cheolas.

I chose a track entitled "Walk his way".

Note: The above posted track is not played in full.

I used to listen to Andrea and her group play at Sir Charles Pub in Royal Oak, MI in the mid-80's. She was from Detroit...right across the river from Windsor, Ontario. I have an autographed copy of the album you're showing here. Unfortunately, Andrea signed it in Flair marker...so, the inscription is smudged and is destined to disappear in time.
